The NRHS Academic Awards celebration is a time to reflect on the dedication of our outstanding students and to celebrate their success. The evening begins with music, decoration, and accolades including certificates and medals. The evening always concludes with a wonderful reception, catered by our CEP Food Services students and staff.

Academic Awards winners will be issued invitations earlier in the month and family members and guests are strongly encouraged to join with the school in our celebration of academic excellence!

Lieutenant Governor’s Award Winners

Each year, the Provincial Department of Education awards the Lieutenant Governor’s Award to a deserving male and female candidate in Grade 11. LG Award nominees must demonstrate the qualities of leadership and service in the school and community while maintaining a strong academic performance. The 2015 LG Award recipients for Northumberland Regional High School are Katie Warren and James Lees. Traditionally, our LG Award recipients act as Master and Mistress of Ceremonies for our Academic Awards’ Celebration.
